1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of their published articles. By submitting and publishing a manuscript in IJAIDS, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, reproduce, and make the article available as part of the journal's scholarly content.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted work does not infringe upon the copyright, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights of third parties. Any material reproduced from other sources must be appropriately acknowledged and, where required, used with permission from the copyright holder.

2. License and Terms of Use

Unless otherwise stated, articles published in IJAIDS are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

• Share and distribute their published articles in personal or institutional repositories.
• Use their published work for teaching, academic, and research purposes.
• Include their published work in academic portfolios, theses, dissertations, and other scholarly materials, with proper acknowledgment of the original publication.
• Reuse and adapt their own work in future publications, subject to appropriate citation and acknowledgment of the original publication.
• Receive proper attribution as the original author of their published work.

4. Publisher Rights

IRMEX Digital Akademika, as the publisher of IJAIDS, is granted the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, archive, and make the articles available through the journal's website and other appropriate scholarly dissemination platforms.

The publisher is responsible for maintaining the journal's publication platform and ensuring that published articles are made accessible according to the journal's Open Access Policy and applicable licensing terms.

5. Third-Party Materials

Authors must obtain permission from the relevant copyright holders before reproducing copyrighted figures, tables, images, or other third-party materials when such permission is required.

The CC BY 4.0 license applied to an article does not automatically extend to third-party materials identified as excluded from the article's license. Such materials remain subject to their respective copyright and licensing conditions.

6. Open Access and Copyright

IJAIDS provides immediate open access to its published articles. Readers may access, download, share, and reuse published content in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license.

Open access publication does not mean that copyright is transferred to the publisher or waived by the authors. Copyright ownership remains with the authors, while reuse is governed by the applicable license terms.

7. Copyright Agreement

By submitting a manuscript to IJAIDS, authors confirm that they have the authority to grant the publication rights described in this policy. Authors are also expected to ensure that all co-authors agree to the submission and publication arrangements.

The journal may require authors to complete a Statement of Originality, Research Ethics, and Authorship Contribution as part of its submission and publication requirements.
