Monitoring expired medications is a crucial aspect of pharmaceutical management aimed at maintaining the quality of healthcare services and ensuring patient safety. This study aims to develop an Android-based application system capable of efficiently and accurately monitoring the expiration of medicines, thereby reducing the risk of using unfit drugs. The system includes features for digitally recording medication data, expiration dates, and storage locations, along with automatic notifications when a medication is approaching its expiration date. Furthermore, the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method is implemented to predict the number of medications likely to expire in upcoming periods. The application was developed using the Laravel framework (backend), React Native (frontend), and MySQL (database). Testing using the black-box method showed that all core features functioned properly and met user needs. This system is expected to enhance the efficiency of drug inventory management, minimize manual errors, and provide a technological solution that adapts well to healthcare facilities in managing expired medications.
